Adrian Cacho is a Los Angeles artist and illustrator. He is influenced by the dark medieval fantasy manga Berserk and sci-fi movies ranging from 2001: A Space Odyssey to Star Wars. Using a calligraphy brush and sumi ink, he draws architectural inspired monsters and biomechanical humanoids on comic art boards. Fine lines and dots are the repeated technical applications used to address the contours of the subjects he draws. His art is guided by the two following principles: entertainment and visual spectacle. Cacho’s narratives are an introspection expressing his musings, grievances, or epiphanies.
Cacho contributed to Next Generation of Voters, a project by the LA County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk for the 2020 Presidential Primary Election. Cacho will receive his bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 2021.
