Manuela Alvarez, often known as “Manny,” is an art educator from Los Angeles. She works in work is often on canvases done with acrylic paint. She uses different techniques like color tones, layering and different brushwork to create different patterns and illusions. Manny identifies her work as abstract symbolism. She shares her creative interests by offering classes to inspire those interested in getting involved with art.
Manuela is the founder of art workshops in the Now Academy School. She was a member of the Dominguez Hills Arts Collective and the Ceramics Guild. She received her Bachelors in Studio Art at California State University Dominguez Hills.
