Michael Irula is an emerging artist from South Gate. He is a multidisciplinary artist primarily working in oil painting. He works with limited palettes to create realistic portraits that examine the dichotomy between Black Metal and Renaissance art. Michael draws inspiration from the works of Renaissance masters and from photographs taken of bands in concert.
Michael received his B.A. in Studio Art from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
