Noel Rodriguez is a first-generation Hispanic artist whose paintings and drawings are strongly influenced by his upbringing in a religious family and his experiences growing up in Lynwood during the 90s and early 2000s. His art is an exploration of both the good and bad memories of his past and his personal encounters that have molded his character. His pieces are deeply connected to his childhood memories and family history. Using a range of mediums, including acrylic paint, markers, and spray paint, Rodriguez creates vibrant and textured paintings that are both visually stunning and emotionally evocative.
In 2021, Noel’s work was exhibited in the Student Art Exhibition at Cerritos College Gallery. He received his Associates’ Degree in Studio Arts from Cerritos College. Since then, he has exhibited his artwork at the Winston Hewitt Studio in Cal State Dominguez Hills.
