Ryan Sayphraraj is a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator from San Gabriel, California who works with paint, fabric, and sound. His work is influenced by self-love, music, life, and death. He incorporates intense colors with images of imaginary characters and design. Sayphraraij’s sculptures and paintings often use patterns, embroidery, patchwork, and reference popular culture, skateboarding, and fashion.
He received an A.A. in studio art, human behavioral science, and humanities from Pasadena City College in 2018, and will receive a B.A. in Studio Art from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 2021.
