Dulce Rosas (b.1996 Michoacan, Mexico) is an Interdisciplinary Artist based in South Central Los Angeles. Through her installations, sculptures, drawings, and paintings, Dulce explores themes of identity, beauty, and feminism, as well as seeking to question society’s perception of beauty. In this work, the artist installs an intimate space using porcelain, earthenware, gold paint, and mirrors fabricated from polymer clay. Dulce has exhibited at The Big House (2023), Winston Hewitt Studio (2023 & 2022), Ascot Branch Library (2018), and Leo F. Cane Library (2017). She was an active member of the CSUDH Art’s Collective and the CSUDH Ceramic’s Guild.
