Catherine Morales is an emerging multidisciplinary artist from Norwalk who focuses on ceramics, painting, and drawing. Catherine creates figurative paintings and translates them into three-dimensional forms. In her ceramic work, she has incorporated representations of herself and others to investigate the childhood experience of verbal abuse.
Catherine served as an assistant to artist Kim Tucker for the exhibition Sunday Morning (2020) at the University Art Gallery at California State University, Dominguez Hills and interned for Professor and Chair of the Art & Design Department, Jim Keville.
Catherine participated in student exhibitions as a member of the DH Arts Collective. She has worked with peers as a teaching artist for the Praxis program and has organized workshops in South Los Angeles.
