Zeyel Nash is a Los Angeles-based illustrator and graphic designer. Nash’s work centers around identity, femininity, retrofuturism and surrealism navigating the experiences of women of color coming of age in the digital era.
Nash currently works as a creative associate and in-house graphic designer for Digital Niche Agency in Marina Del Rey, CA. She is a PRAXIS Undergraduate Student Teaching Artist Fellowship recipient, and completed an internship at the University Art Gallery at CSUDH and Uma Enterprises. Her work was exhibited in Pop Riot (2016), Under Rated (2018), and Catfish Blues (2019) at the Winston Hewitt Studio and at Black Umbrella Gallery’s group exhibition Hypnotic Senses (2019). She will receive a B.A. in Studio Art at California State University Dominguez Hills with a minor in graphic design in 2021.
